Louisiana residents are showing support for clean energy jobs online in a campaign by New York-based The Alliance for Climate Protection. The alliance, which is chaired by Al Gore, has launched a “Repower Wall” to allow people from across the U.S. to post videos and messages calling for clean energy legislation and jobs. “Louisianans have joined thousands of voices from across America on the Repower Wall to express their support for swift action to address climate change and to transition to a new 21st century clean energy economy,” said Laura Nevitt, state director of Repower Louisiana. “The Repower Wall is becoming a hub for all Louisianans who want to see our economy grow and to start down a path toward a new energy future for Louisiana and America.”
