Walk down a stretch of West Market Street near the Indiana Statehouse today and you’re likely to see a curious sight: A truck beset with a huge video screen is rolling video of a few dozen Hoosiers proclaiming their “Clean Energy Resolutions.” The display is part of a marketing effort to convince U.S. Senators Evan Bayh and Richard Lugar — whose Indianapolis offices are a few blocks away — to support climate change legislation in Congress. It was organized by Repower America, a national green-energy advocacy campaign. Organizers have collected video resolutions from all over the country through its “Repower Wall” Web site at www.repoweramerica.org/wall. And like in Indianapolis, the videos are being displayed on similar trucks in other cities and states.
