Alliance joins nearly 10,000 bloggers for a day of action on climate crisis

On Thursday, October 15, the Alliance for Climate Protection is joining nearly 10,000 bloggers from more than 130 countries in the annual Blog Action Day, reaching a combined audience of more than 10 million readers.

Blog Action Day unites the world’s bloggers in posting about the same issue on the same day with the aim of sparking discussion around an issue of global importance.

The Alliance joins top nonprofit organizations around the world in partnering with Blog Action, including Oxfam, Greenpeace, the United Nations Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, NRDC, 350.org, the Nature Conservancy, and the more than 40 organizations affiliated with the TckTckTck campaign.

Maggie L. Fox, President and CEO of the Alliance for Climate Protection says, “Blog Action Day is a unique and timely opportunity to engage in a global conversation about the urgency and solvability of the climate crisis. We are excited to support broadening the conversation to take immediate action to the international online community and all of their readers.”
