The race to secure our clean energy future is nearing the finish line. Tonight, President Obama gave the Senate the clear direction to pass clean energy and climate legislation that puts the needs of the American people first – our national security, our jobs, and our health. People from every corner of the country overwhelmingly support action. They want our leaders to transition to a clean energy economy that puts America back to work, ends our reliance on foreign oil and keeps our families and futures safe. Now it is time for the Senate to act.
